Work at Shaffer Park Begins
C-T 05/24/10

Work at June Shaffer Memorial Park has switched into high gear with the opening Mudcats home game set for Saturday, June 5. According to Chillicothe Parks and Recreation workers, the work has been slowed by recent rainy weather. Also, in related news, the Chillicothe City Council voted on May 17, 2010 to close the park on game days to prepare for the home games and keep people off the infield.
